CWOCC is excited to launch our 5th year of the Sponsorship program.  The valued partnership with our local community has been a vital ingredient in our success. Your generosity has allowed us to open new trail systems in Ringle and Sylvan Hill Park as well as invest in our legacy trail systems. We continue to plan trail building and expansion as we pursue International Mountain Bicycling Association (IMBA) Ride Center status.  As a nonprofit organization, we couldn’t do it without the support of committed sponsors. No matter what level you choose, you are part of the ongoing development of destination trail riding in the upper Midwest.

In 2020, we continue to be involved in great events like the Wausau 24 endurance race, WEMS race (Wisconsin Endurance Mountain Bike Series), the RAGNAR Trail run, NICA race (National Interscholastic Cycling Association) and other CWOCC events and activities bringing  thousands of riders into the Wausau area.  

CWOCC continues to invest in new, young new bikers with the Youth Rider Program.  Over 35 kids ages 4-13 register for the 8-week program held at Nine Mile County Forest on Tuesday nights.  Our women’s programs continue to grow with the annual Women’s Mountain Bike Clinic which provides instruction for up to 50 beginner and intermediate women riders at Nine Mile County Forest.  In short, CWOCC is making an impact on our community!  Consider these numbers:

• Over 65 miles of single-track mountain bikes trails built and maintained by CWOCC volunteers.

• Almost 40 miles of groomed snow trails for winter fat biking groomed and maintained by CWOCC volunteers. 

• 200+ dues paying members.

• $600,000 invested in the local mountain bike trail systems raised by CWOCC

• 80% increase in local trail passes/usage since CWOCC formed in 2012.
